What Is Urea?

Urea is a Keratolytic emollient that gently dissolves the intercellular matrix, which results in a loosening and shredding of the thick, yellow brittle nail. This allows FungaBlend 10® Antifungal to penetrate the underlying nail bed where fungus is found. The more antifungal that reaches the fungal infection site, the better superior clinical outcome. What is Urea 42% Urea Gel Indicated for?

Urea 42% Nail Gel is indicated for use as a topical treatment for debridement of Mycotic Nails.

Urea 42% Nail Gel is a Keratolytic emollient that was developed to treat thick, dystrophic fungal (Onychomycosis) nails.

Urea 42% Nail Gel penetrates the nail to soften and thin the nail allowing for enhanced absorption of an antifungal solution.  

How Use Urea 42% Nail Gel?

Apply Urea 42% Nail Gel  to the affected nail bed tissue once per day , or as directed by a physician.

When using in combination with FungaBlend 10® Antifungal Solution, use the Antifungal Solution in the morning and Urea 42% Nail Gel in the evening.

Safety Concerns:

I’m pregnant , can I use Urea 42% Nail Gel ?

Please tell your Physician Urea 42% has a pregnancy rating of Category C . Do not use Urea 42% Nail Gel without the prior advice of your Physician. The FDA states it is not known whether Urea used as a topical treatment passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby.  Please share the ingredient list with your physician, to make an informed decision.
